Round 16 of the 18 round 2011 MotoGP Championship is taking place at Phillip Island this weekend.  Racer View’s Sam Tickell is on the Island to catch all the action.

The MotoGP Championship could be taken by local hero, Casey Stoner on his Repsol Honda with Yamaha’s Jorge Lorenzo aiming to keep his title hopes alive.  The Moto2 title is close with Stefan Bradl just 1 point behind Marc Marquz.  In the 125 cc battle, Nicolas Terol could seal the title this weekend.
