Mathew Hart is a part of the up and coming sect of Australian motor sport drivers trying to make their name and career in the sport.  Hailing from Canberra, not far from where Mark Webber grew up, Mathew balances his motorsport ambitions with his schooling.  He started karting in 2002 and went on to win state titles in every state and every class he competed in.  In 2010 he stepped up to Formula Ford in a part season, taking class win on debut.  A full season beckoned in 2011 with the Synergy team.  He took Rookie of the Year honours joining names like Garth Tander, Jamie Whincup and Mark Winterbottom who won the title in the past.  He remained with Synergy for 2012 with a chassis upgrade from  Spectrum 012 to 014 (in a series where most use the Mygale) has proven successful with race wins at Albert Park and Phillip Island.
