RacerViews was at the Terex Australian Supercross Championships at Toowoomba over the weekend.  The first gallery comes from practice and qualifying from Sam Tickell.  The practice and qualifying were held in dry but damp conditions, a contrast to the very wet conditions of the night time racing.

The session in brief

There was some really light drizzle at various points throughout the morning, but unbelievably that golden disc in the sky has decided to show itself as the bikes prepare for practice. Only the big guy will dictate whether it stays that way, but the track is a real spectacle and something rarely (if ever) seen before in Australian Supercross. I would expect lap times to be just over the one minute mark. The rhythm section at the bottom end of the course will sort out the contenders from the pretenders and once the sand whoops fully rut out,  things should get interesting there too.
