Frenchman Bruce Jouanny reached the lofty heights of LMP1, racing at Le Mans with Pescarolo and Courage Competition.  His taste for professional motorsports never waned but his love for paying for a drive or partnering a gentleman driver was never there.  The changing face of sportscar racing and the unfortuante demise of Pescarolo scuppered his chances in LMP1.  This weekend, he is at Bathurst for the Liqui Moly Bathurst 12 Hours driving a factory Peugeot RCZ.

In what turned out to be a fascinating interview,  Jouanny talks about his Bathurst chances, his career and the plight of sportscar racing.  More information on Jouanny is available on his site.

The official event website, www.bathurst12hour.com.au, will be the primary place to view the race, with RadioLeMans also providing live audio throughout the event.

We will be bringing you more throughout the weekend and keep an eye on www.speedtv.com and www.dailysportscar.com for more news throughout the weekend.
