A photo gallery of the titanic battles of the ASBK’s 250cc class

We have yet more for our coverage of the QBE Australian Superbike Championship at Queensland Raceway – here we have the 250cc class.  The 250cc class is designed for young riders with slip streaming ruling.

The races at Queensland saw changes for most positions seemingly on every corner.  CMR’s Brandon Demmery took out the weekend but now without a titanic battle with Luke Burgess.  A high speed game of chess if there ever was one…

Demmery rides into the pitlane triumphant, outfoxing Burgess in the last race of the weekend

Demmery on the #11 would never get far from Burgess, this was probably the biggest gap of the final race

The battles raged down the field, and it wasn’t rare to be three wide.

Sophie Lovett was on double duty, often having to park the 250 after the race, jump straight onto her Prostock and hope she could all do it in time

Burgess, the defending champ was also on double duty, also racing in the Supersport class
