With the ALMS Lime Rock GP being taken out in dominant style by the Cytosport Muscle Milk HPD, we take a look back with thanks to photographer, Andrew Henderson.

“It’s nice to have a clean race with nothing happening,” said Luhr, extending his record ALMS-leading total to 44 victories. “We’ve made it difficult for ourselves in the past. Today was relatively easy, but we still had to deal with the heat and traffic. We’re happy campers.”  It was an easy race for Lucas Luhr and Klaus Graf, taking the win by six laps from the Dyson Lola.

It was a second place for Jan Heylen and Mike Hedland in the GTC category.  The JDX Porsche finished just shy of the Flying Lizard squad.

It wasn’t the best race for the West/AJR Ferrari which ended up 9th in class

BMW would have a great race, taking the GT win but it would be the #55 car.  The #56 would be a lap down on their teammates

Work has continued with the Deltawing and the drivers reported the car being much better than last time out

Though it didn’t come to much.  8 pitstops and retirement after 102 laps meant another long day for the team and drivers, Andy Merrick and Katherine Legge

A late race retirement ruined the race for the #3 Corvette.  Their teammates lost out on the win by just under a second

The Momo NGT Porsche would be on the retirement list, which has undoubtedly hurt their title chances.  They had led coming into Lime Rock

The Risi Ferrari would also be part of a controversial accident, which would see their retirement and a post race points deduction

It was 7th in class for the Miller/Holzer Porsche, which should see them jump ahead of Risi in the Championship
