Greg Murphy rejoined the Trofeo squad after having raced with them at Bathurst.  He would take two podium positions in the Corvette Z06R

RacerViews was at the Shannons Nationals over the weekend and we were covering theAustralian GT Championship Presented by Pirelli.  Here, we talk to Greg Murphy who proved the pace of the Trofeo Corvette Z06R in the Australian Championship.

After racing with the team alongside Jim Manilos and Ivan Capelli at Bathurst, Murphy returned to the squad for the Queensland round.  Murphy is better known for his exploits in the V8 Supercars where he has taken for wins in the Bathurst 1000 and finished runner up in the Championship twice in the past.

He has lost none of his pace in a car that has typically been outclassed in its previous performances.  He took two thirds and a fourth in the three 40 minute races at Queensland Raceway.
