Adrian Coppin joined the Citroen Australia Rally team this year in the ECB Australian Rally Championship.  Rallying the DS3 he has come up to speed quickly in the car that has been designed by the factory to be rallied around the world.

In the opening two rounds of the championship has reached the podium on both occasions getting to gives quickly with the Citroen reaching his goals for the first half of the year.

Coppin and his teammate Tony Sullins are up against French counterpart to Renault and the Mazdas of Brendan Reeves for the top spot in the Australian Rally Championship.  This is the first year that Coppin is taking on the full season in the first year that Citroen is competing in Australia.  Undoubtedly it has been a learning curve for both and if the first half the year is anything to judge by, the second half of the year will be interesting for them both.

Next up for the Australian Rally Championship is the International Rally of Queensland which sees the Australian competitors lineup against the Asia-Pacific Rally Championship.

In this interview we chat about the season to date what we can expect for the rest of the year along with the hallmark events of the International Rally of Queensland and the upcoming Coates Hire Rally Australia.
