Harry Tincknell takes his second pole of the year, a third for the Jota Sport team. The young British LMP2 driver set the fastest qualifying time at Spielburg’s Red Bull Ring after a win at Imola and Le Mans 24hrs. Despite the heat expected for this afternoon’s 4 hours of RBR, Tincknell is confident he can add another ELMS win to his growing résumé.

One the GTE Pole sits Andrea Bertollini in the SMP Racing Ferrari F458 LMGTE. After taking pole at Silverstone and now at the Red Bull Ring, Bertollini feels poised to put the pressure on the rest of the GTE field and earn more valuable championship points.

Topping the GTC field is Formula Racing’s Jan Magnussen in the GT3 Ferrari F458 who set a blistering lap despite heavy pressure from the closely following McLaren 12c.
