With the Bathrust 1000 on this weekend and the Brabham name being relaunched with a vengeance into the racing world (you can fund them here!), we take a look a back to the time when David and Geoff took on Bathurst in a 2L BMW.

They went onto win in controversial circumstances.  They crossed the line in second but their BMW teammates of Paul Morris and Craig Baird were disqualified after Baird exceeded three hours of consecutive driving.
