“I am proud of everyone at Cadillac Racing. This whole team is made up of Joe Montana’s, we are a fourth quarter team,” said O’Connell. “We had some adversity this year, the crash at Long Beach while running upfront. I had a car that could have won that race. When I got taken out, I got a huge fine and hit in the points. Then at Barber we were running fast and burned a car down. The spirit of the team came to the front at that point. What people don’t see is the hundreds of thousands of hours that the Cadillac Racing crew put into those race cars. I am just the guy who gets to put it on display for 100-minutes on the race weekend.”

“It was a great way to finish the season with a win for the MOMO/NGT Motorsport Ferrari team. It the best way to give them a thank you. I tried to go as fast as possible and win the race today. That was it. The car was so perfect from the start of the race and I got a great start off the line too. We had good starting start practice too. It may have looked easy from the outside but the team worked very hard. It was just a great weekend overall for me.”

“It was a phenomenal first season for the Always Evolving team. We won two races, scored six second places and ended fourth in the championship. Ultimately, losing the points for our win at Barber earlier in the season cost us the championship in our debut season. What we can take from this is that our performance throughout the year was Championship winning material. This obviously places us in a strong position going into 2016 with the next gen Nissan GT-R GT3. I’m proud to be a part of this team and appreciate all their tireless hard work and motivation to win. It goes hand in hand with all involved.”

“Winning my first GTA race two weeks ago was awesome and I wanted to finish the season with another strong finish in Monterey,. Our qualifying was really good, but I had my work cut out for me to move up from P4 as the Mercedes SLS AMG cars had significant pace all weekend. I tried to drive smart and avoid mistakes while some of the other GTA class competitors went off track. I managed to finish on the podium and in the absence of a class win — I’ll take it.”
