It would be a race that saw the first win for the Michael Shank Ligier Honda after a season of trying and importantly, the first win for the new Ford GT cars run by Ganassi. Crucial as they come into Le Mans and try to repeat the 40 year old glory. Mazda took pole. PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports won PC and Team Seattle/Alex Job Racing won GTD. And there is the USCC race weekned in a nutshell.
