It was an exciting race again for the World Endurance Championship from COTA. Audi had the chance to take the win but couldn’t capitalise this time around.

It was left to the #1 car to start to make up for a tough start of the year, while in LMP2, it was Alpine that continued their excellent 2016 form and Aston Martin played a blinder to take GTEPro.

Aston Martin would also take GTE Am and this sets up a great race as they look forward to Fuji.
