Update at the end of the first loop of the Condroz Rally

After the first six special stages of the 46th Condroz Rally, Stéphane Lefebvre, last year’s winner is in charge. But with just a 5 “7 lead over Adrian Fernémont, he certainly can’t relax yet. For the Skoda rider, everything is going according to plan, because if it stays like this he will be Champion, because Kris Princen was losing time.

“The Ford Fiesta MkII gives me a lot of confidence. Certainly in conditions with a lot of mud and little grip, this Ford is extremely efficient. This may open up perspectives for next season,” said Stéphane Lefebvre, who rode the fastest times in Ben-Ahin and in Héron.

Adrian Fernémont concentrates on his assignment: “I have to finish first in order to keep my title chances intact and that is exactly what we do. The choice of tires was good and I feel good. We had a perilous moment this morning, when we got off the track and the spectators there were very badly positioned, but in the meantime I have found my focus again. “
