Seven rounds in Division 1 and in Division 2

The 2024 Kroon-Oil Belgian Rally Championship is approaching its climax during the Spa Rally, which will be held in the first weekend of December. In the meantime, RACB Sport, the BRC Promoter and the organisers have been working hard on the plans for 2025. Continuity was chosen.

The calendar for the 2025 BRC includes 10 races, 7 of which are in Division 1 and 7 in Division 2 (4 combined rounds), including one newcomer, the Boucles Chevrotines in D2.

On a technical level, all nationally approved cars are allowed in all races, both in Division 1 and Division 2. Just like this season, only cars from the RC2, RC3, RC4, RC5 and RGT classes score points in Division 1. In Division 2, the RC2s and RGTs do not score any points. The RC1s no longer need to have an FIA fuel tank and in NCM the Gr.M passport is no longer required. In addition, the system of day licenses is retained.

Status Quo in Division 1

As far as Division 1 is concerned, the scoring and the number of results to be submitted remain unchanged. The calendar has 7 rounds in Division 1. In addition, participants may submit one result from a pre-nominated D2 race. The best 6 results of these 8 scores will ultimately be counted in the final standings of the Division 1 championship. In each Division 1 race, the last test is also the power stage, where extra points can be earned.

The calendar:

– Rally van Haspengouw (22/2)
– Rallye de Wallonie (26-27/4)
– Sezoensrally (17/5)
– Ardeca Ypres Rally (27-28/6)
– A&D Omloop van Vlaanderen (5-6/9)
– East Belgian Rally (27/9)
– Spa Rally (29-30/11).

Newcomer in Division 2: Boucles Chevrotines (11/10)

As in 2024, D1 drivers may enter one result achieved in a D2 competition. In the independent Division 2, competitions, RC2s and RGTs may also participate, but they cannot score points for the D2 championship. This season, there are 7 rounds on the Division 2 calendar, including 3 independent events and 4 side events of D1 rounds (Rally of Wallonia, Ypres Rally, Omloop van Vlaanderen and the Spa Rally). The newcomer to the calendar is the Boucles Chevrotines in Sivry on 11 October.

Division 2 Calendar

– Rallye des Ardennes (15/03)
– TAC Rally (12/04)
– Rallye de Wallonie D2 (26/04)
– Ardeca Ypres Rally D2 (28/06)
– A&D Omloop van Vlaanderen (6/09)
– Boucles Chevrotines (11/10)
– Spa Rally (29/11)

* The calendars are still subject to the signing of the contract with the BRC Promoter.
