Motologic Honda rider Wayne Maxwell took second in the 2012 ASBK Championship.  Coming into the final round 19 points behind Josh Waters, he needed somewhat of a miracle to make up the deficit with only 50 points on offer.

He was able to make up some of the gap to Waters with a double podium at Queensland Raceway but was unable to take the Championship.

We were able to catch up with Maxwell after the race to have a chat about his season, his race weekend and his future in the sport.
