Leonard Smith was at the Australian MotoGP and he had a chat with Australian Moto2 wildcard Aiden Wagner. Here we catch up on that interview.
Wagner was making his Moto2 debut, taking a wildcard ride for the MarcVDS team’s Kalex. Wagner would finish on the lead lap in his debut, taking 26th position. It was after a solid qualifying session, taking a time of 1’35.172, some 2.7 seconds off pole position.
Wagner has been a front runner in the Australian Supersport Championship over the past few seasons on his Yamaha R6. This year he is competing for the FX Championship and is inline for the title with one round to go. He couldn’t beat Daniel Falzon for the ASBK Supersport Championship this year.
