Brodie Waters went into the ASBK Supersport finale just 0.5 points off the Championship lead.  He had a strong weekend until mid way through race two when mechanical issues struck, essentially ending his title chances.

We were able to catch up with an obviously disappointed Waters after the Queensland Raceway ASBK finale.
