The WRC Rally Germany was one of the best we have seen for years. It was Dani Sordo’s first win after 34 podiums in the past and a much needed boost for the Spaniard and Citroen after underperforming for much of the year. It was a fight between him and Ford’s Theirry Neuville, a certain talent for the future. It was a matter of seconds that decided the rally…
First

There was a spectacular backdrop for the start

The picturesque German surrounds also made the stages something to behold – even without the fight for rally victory

Both factory VWs could have won and were in a good spot but mistakes ended their run

The bent VWs were far from this…

But VW’s loss was Ford’s gain. The M-Sport squad have been gaining in momentum and Neuville is surely a star of the future

He can even have fun!

He left nothing on the table in the final stage

The fight for victory was intense, capturing Twitter

And that winner, finally was Dani Sordo and Citroen

There were mini wins throughout the field

Or just enjoy the glory of WRC cars driven as they should be

Congratulations are deserved

And despite a poor year, Citroen are the kings of Germany

And this is just cool
