Klark Quinn had a solid start to his Australian GT Championship defense with a podium and a fourth place at the opening round of the Championship at Sandown Park.

Quinn’s McLaren was on the pace in the two one-hour races but he was victim to pitstop timings in both races, preventing him from maximizing his pace.  However, Quinn defends the pitstop rules where drivers that are a higher seeding and qualify further up the grid have longer compulsory pitstops.

He is also looking forward to the next round at Phillip Island where he will bring a V8 Supercar racer to take on part of the driving duties in the 101 lap endurance event.

We talk about the McLaren, the racing and look forward to the next event.
