Richard Muscat has had a dream debut in the opening round of the 2014 Australian GT Championship presented by Pirelli, winning both of the weekend’s one hour races.

We had a chat with Richard after the opening sessions where he topped the times.  He wasn’t able to take part in the qualifying sessions after a mechanical but brilliant racing and race tactics ensured he was able to put the Erebus Mercedes SLS GT3 on top of the pile at the end of the races.

In this interview we talk about the racing, the qualifying issues and look ahead to the next round – an endurance race at Phillip Island.
