The 1990 German Grand Prix was held at Hockenheim and it was at the height of the Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost battle that would go on throughout the year. It was the last GP to be run in West Germany prior to final reunification of Germany. Senna would go onto win ahead of Alessandro Nannini (Benetton) and Gehard Berger’s McLaren.
