This time last week I was sitting in the Neste Rally Finland service park. Having spent a few days on stage, I can confirm that Rally Finland is something else – unlike anything I have been to before.
You will never get the feeling that you get on a stage in a stadium or on a race track. They are great experiences, but when you get thousands upon thousands of people travelling long distances to see rally cars, creating the atmosphere in the middle of a field or a forest, it is something else. The passion from the Finns and the Estonians was incredible – and I thank them for that! Plus the speed, the excitement of the current generation rally cars is something else.
