Two Pro-Am cars topped the time sheets in the combined free practice sessions today at Silverstone. In a windy day, but with dry conditions for the GT Open contenders in their two sessions, local hero Tom Onslow-Cole, at the wheel of the SPS Mercedes shared with Valentin Pierburg, posted the fastest time (1.58.135), beating by a mere 12 thousandth of a second the Teo Martín McLaren of Allam Kodair-Marcelo Hahn, who were fastest in the morning session.

Champion co-leaders Albert Costa-Giacomo Altoè (Emil Frey Lambo) and Matt Griffin-Duncan Cameron (Spirit of Race Ferrari) followed, completing a quartet of different brands in the top-4, covered by only 0.224 seconds.

Crestani-Ramos (SPS Mercedes), Rueda-Saravia (TMM McLaren), Siedler-Grenier (Emil Frey Lambo) and the debuting local duo John Hashtorne-Oliver Hancock (Kessel Racing Ferrari) also remained within half-second from the top.

In Am, Miguel Da Costa (Sports&You Mercedes) was fastest ahead of the Antonelli Mercedes of Cipriani and Roda, with points leaders Alex Hrachowina-Martin Konrad (HTP Mercedes) having to withdraw last-minute because the former not yet recovered from minor surgery. A sporting accident occurred to Christoph Lenz prevented also the #90 Ratón Target Lambo to be present.
