The promoter of the Jobfixers Belgian Rally Championship and RACB Sport confirm that the Jobfixers Belgian Rally Championship 2020 will continue as planned. Of the 5 rounds on the 2020 calendar, the 4 best results will count towards the final standings of the 2020 Belgian Championship.

The National Consultation Committee took drastic measures on Friday, October 16 to prevent the further spread of the corona virus, but for the time being the impact on rallying remains limited. For rallying, a protocol was already drawn up this summer in collaboration with RACB Sport and approved by the competent regional Minsters of Sport. Minister Weyts has already made it clear that sports with the public must remain possible.

These protocols, which are being reviewed this week, already provide measures to organize rallies in a Covid-safe way. A plea will therefore be made for maintaining the current facilities provided for in the applicable protocol. The fact that these outdoor events are held on a course of several tens of kilometers, offers all possibilities to keep everyone enough distance. During the Aarova Rally, the second race of the Jobfixers BRC, it was already proven that rallies can be organized in a safe way.

That will undoubtedly become clear on Saturday in Vresse-sur-Semois, in the South Belgian Rally.
