Silverstone was host at the weekend to the new ZEO Prototype Series. The BRSCC along with Excool have launched the brand-new series of which includes 6 classes with no restrictions for the faster classes. The ZEO Prototype Series is the brain child of experienced prototype driver and Excool CEO Duncan Williams. The Series is open to all sports prototypes and sports racing cars, be it open top or closed top.
The race format consists of a 20-minute qualifying session of which is then followed by two 20-minute races. The series will run over three weekends with eight races in total.
The first venue saw the series using the Silverstone National Circuit. The series will then move to the Kent circuit, Brands Hatch on August 8th with the last two races being held at Donnington Park on the 26th September.
