Dakar winner to race at British Rallycross opening round.

This weekend see’s the start of the 2022 British Rallycross Championship and joining the the already impressive line up will be Sam Sunderland the 2022 Dakar champion. Sam will be competing in the RX150 Rallycross, he will also be joined by Red Bull T.V’s Mike Chen.

The Supercar’s will start the season with a very impressive 14 car line up of which for the first round on Saturday, will see Oliver Bennett make a much welcome return to the Lydden Hill circuit. Oliver and his Xite Energy Racing team have a brief gap between other commitments and will be bringing the mini that they used in the Nitro Rallycross series in 2021.

Also joining the action over weekend and before she starts her much awaited 2022 Extreme E season will be Catie Munnings in one of the Swift Sports cars.

Matt Hancock will be trackside over the Easter weekend to bring all the news and images from what looks to be an amazing weekend of rallycross action.
