The latest Ferrari Racing Days event took place at the weekend, as Silverstone became awash with Prancing Horses. The Trofeo Pirelli UK Ferrari Challenge (Ferrari 488 Evos) took centre stage in what was their penultimate round of the season for 2023. Also running at Silverstone over the weekend were the Ferrari F1 Clienti and Ferrari XX Programme.
UK Ferrari Challenge
The Ferrari Challenge is the most renowned single-marque championship, that has been bringing together dream cars and esteemed clients on the world’s most picturesque tracks since 1993. A competition for those who, not satisfied with just driving their Ferraris on the road, feel the urge to compete in top-level sprint races. The Ferrari Challenge is divided into two continental series, Europe and North America. A further UK series was added in 2019, followed by the Japanese series in 2023.
For many years, a small number of clients have been able to enjoy memorable experiences on and off the track.
Challenge races are always hard fought and battle-filled, allowing the driver to fully savour the excitement that only the track can provide, but all within a framework of total professionalism, from the technical point of view, and with maximum safety. The three championships are, in fact, homologated by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA).
Over the weekend there were two 30 minute races. Friday was practice day with qualifying taking place on Saturday morning and Sunday morning respectively.

F1 Clienti
F1 Clienti has to be one of the most sought after experiences in the motorsport world. To be able to own a piece of F1 motorsport history is one thing, but to then be able to drive your F1 Ferrari around some of the worlds greatest circuits is just out of this world. The following is an extract from the Ferrari Clienti Brochure.
Just a few get to realise the dream of driving the single-seaters that have made the history of the only manufacturer to have competed in every Formula 1 season. F1 Clienti, the initiative for Ferrari’s most exclusive customers, offers this and much more. On the track, unparalleled and unique excitement thanks to the Scuderia’s technicians and engineers.
Off the track, memorable experiences that only Ferrari can create, with staff on hand for every need. Impeccable organisation, unparalleled service and outstanding coaches such as former Formula 1 drivers Marc Gené and Olivier Beretta are just some aspects that make F1 Clienti and the XX Programme unrivalled in the automotive world. Technical and logistical assistance, telemetry analysis after the sessions on the track, a physiotherapist and masseur on hand, and a comfortable and exclusive lounge provide participants with an unparalleled experience.
The XX Programme
If historic F1 cars are not your thing then the more modern Ferrari XX programme is available. The XX programme comprises of the following cars: The FXX K and FXX-K Evo, the 599XX and 599XX Evo and the FXX and FXX Evo.
The following is an extract from the Ferrari Clienti Brochure.
The XX Programme is the perfect synthesis of Ferrari’s customer-centric philosophy, making the customers the leading players in a unique dialogue with the manufacturer. It is synonymous with technological progress and uncompromising performance on the best tracks on the planet with special cars that are as unique as their owners. On-track thrills and memorable off-track experiences help the Programme’s customers forge an even stronger bond with Ferrari.
FXX K and FXX-K Evo
Developed from the Ferrari LaFerrari, the FXX K and FXX-K Evo combine the output of the 12-cylinder engine with the instantaneous power of the Hy-Kers for a total of 1050 hp. Sophisticated active and passive aerodynamics, electronic controls and 530 kg of downforce at 200 km/h mean the FXX K and FXX-K Evo encapsulate the essence of Ferrari’s track technology.
599XX and 599XX Evo
Based on the Ferrari 599, the 599XX and the 599XX Evo are the only XX Programme cars with a front-mounted 12-cylinder engine. Depending on the car’s version, this unit can deliver either 730 or 750 hp while maintaining a progressive delivery that the driver can always handle. The Evo version sets new downforce and ef!ciency limits compared to the 599XX, making the most of the active aerodynamics introduced with this model.
FXX and FXX Evo
The car that gave rise to the Programme made its debut on the track in 2006, driven by the brilliant Michael Schumacher. Conceived around the Enzo Ferrari, the FXX and its Evo version boast 12-cylinder engines with 800 and 860 hp that thrill at every rpm. The FXX offers a common ground for dialogue between speed, power and pure racing essence, where the customers can experience a new, almost primordial driving pleasure.
