Long Beach is one of the marquee events and the ALMS took to the streets for the 2nd round of the Championship. We took to Twitter to check out the action.
Yep. Lets get the party started!
How do you watch Grand Am and ALMS at the same time – this is how. Oh how good is IP TV?
And on that, I don’t envy the job of whoever is equalling the LMP2 and DP classes. DP were running at about GT1 pace at their race at Road Atlanta
Always guaranteed of good photos from Long Beach. The Z4 is a stunning machine
Though we can’t figure out if BMW have been given too many performance waivers
Love him or not, Scott Tucker certainly loves racing
On a tight street track, you know there will be traffic…
Though I can’t help feeling that everyone should be going the same way!
And the walls hurt. Thankfully Chris Dyson was ok
And there is more than what you see on TV. The dedicated SRT team can tell you that
It didn’t all go to plan for BMW after running wide at the start of the race but it certainly ended well
It was a great race for Extreme Speed too as they took LMP2 honours after Level 5 hit trouble
And the Cytosport HPD would overcome the Rebellion Toyota Lola to comfortably take the LMP1 and overall win

Don’t forget you can find the full results of the race here
