A look back at the #Spa24 as told by Twitter

The 2013 Spa 24 Hours was another great race, truly showing that the Blancpain Endurance Series and GT3 formula are going to be round for a long time yet.
We tried to make it this year, but living across the world made it difficult. We will try for next year!
Your lap around Spa Francorchamps
You can never trust the weather at Spa
Marc VDS was very fast but fragile with none of their cars making the finish
I just like this photo
As usual the Audis were fast
The start was spectacular. I don’t how this didn’t end badly.
There were some massive crashes
Never helps if you have suspension failure going into the fastest corner on the calendar
Or you come across a guy that misjudges the situation massively
But it wasn’t all bad. Night racing brings something special
The times were quick and it wasn’t hard to tell who are the ace pilots
In the end it was Mercedes who won. Add the Bathurst 12 Hours to this list and you realise how good of a year Bernd Schneider and the Mercedes SLS GT3 are having
It was also a great effort from Toni Vilander, Matt Griffin and co to take a class win. Of course Griffin lit Bathurst on fire with a great second earlier this year
Nothing to add
Always nice to support a good cause
Agreed. 100%
Your full race recap is here – but your highlights are below. How good is that. A day later and the race highlights are out!
