We love historic racing here at RacerViews and a couple of weeks ago Morgan Park Raceway in Queensland hosted Historic Queensland – the biggest event from the Historic Car Club of Queensland. Personally, I (Sam) was pretty gutted I couldn’t go. Instead I was in the forests of Sunshine Coast (yes I know – a tough life). I enjoyed it there but broke my run of historic race weekends at Morgan Park. Fear not though, we have been able to get a hold of some photos from that weekend. We hope you enjoy.

A group make their way though a dust trail. Unbeknown to another driver, he leaked oil over about 3/4 of the track. I bet he wasn’t popular

The Alfa Romeos are always popular in this part of the world

The event draws a good collection of open wheeler and sportscars, to go along side the muscle cars that dominated the Australian scene for so long

The famous Brumos colours made an appearance too.

A couple of Minis lead a group of cars through the ultra fast esses at Morgan Park. This is a great track and we hope they can get more national series races soon.
