With the Shannons Nationals coming up this weekend at Queensland Raceway, we caught up with Nathan Assaillit.

Assaillit runs a USQ Engineering sponsored Ford BF Falcon in the Kumho Tyres V8 Touring Car Championship and at the last round in Winton, scored his first top five.

He comes into  his home round full of confidence and hoping he can turn a good result.  He has had to learn every track of the Championship so far this year but he knows Queensland well.

We talk with Nathan about his chances, racing at the front of the Kumho V8 Touring Car Championship and his preparations for the weekend.
