The Clearwater Ferrari effort came to an abrupt end early in the race with Hiroshi Hamaguachi hitting the wall while passing another car.  That damaged the radiator of the Ferrari, spraying coolant onto the front tyres.  Hamaguachi spun and was stranded.  While many avoided the Ferrari, the Nissan slammed into the front of the car, resulting in this damage.  And a driver running from damage.

Max Twigg was behind the wheel of the Supabarn Porsche near the end of first practice when he lost it just before Skyline.  There was no damage to the Porsche except for a bit of dust and stone.

The same session, the lap after the track went green.  The AF Corse Ferrari, Vicious Rumour Ferrari and the Equity One Audi got together – again just before Skyline.  The resulting impact ended the weekend for Vicious Rumour and damaged the front end of the AF Corse.
