You may be noticed a slight change to the Racerviews banner.

That is because we have an exciting announcement here at Racerviews as we will be supporting Brendan Reeves and Rhianon Gelsomino as they tackle WRC Rally Spain (the RallyRACC 51 Catalyuna-Costa Daurada) in a M-Sport prepared Ford Fiesta R2 is part of the Drive DMACK Fiesta Trophy.

That they have been rallying in Australia and the United States over the previous few years having competed in the WRC Academy with great success in 2012.

We are excited to back Reeves and Gelsomino as they tackle the world stage and were excited that we will bring you exclusive coverage of their progress throughout the weekend.

The rally kicks off on 22 October on the cruise will compete over 331 competitive kilometres in what is the only mix surfers event of the year. The rally takes in the beautiful area south of Barcelona more information on the route is below.

At Racerviews we have helped been represented on race and rally cars in the past and were excited to help Brendan and Rhiannon in their latest WRC adventure.

WRC Rallye Espania Route

•    Costa Daurada holiday resort of Salou, south of Barcelona, is the host town.
•    The year’s only mixed surface encounter features a much revised route in the hills of Tarragona.
•    It opens on Thursday night with a street stage in the Montjuïc area of Barcelona, on roads that hosted the Spanish Grand Prix F1 race on four occasions.
•    Friday’s opening leg is predominantly gravel, but with some asphalt in the long Terra Alta test.
•    The second and third legs are entirely asphalt.
•    Short spectator-friendly test runs along Salou seafront through the town centre.

In 2013 Brendan won the Rally America 2WD Championship in his first season after taking 5 wins from 5 starts! Brendan and his co-driving sister, Rhianon Gelsomino, contested 2014 Australian Rally Championship in their Rallyschool.com.au Mazda2, fighting for the title.
