Italy’s long racing heritage will be celebrated at the Kent circuit with an exciting and diverse race programme, which will include two races for the stunning machines in the Pirelli Ferrari Formula Classic series. The series includes racing examples of everything from the 308 of the ’70s to modern classics such as the 355 of the ’90s. There will be opportunities for spectators to get up close to these cars and soak up the event’s unique atmosphere during a free pre-race grid walk.

The Ferrari Owners’ Club of Great Britain will be involved in the event in an official capacity, bringing a hospitality unit for its members, whilst allowing its car owners to take part in a ‘best in show’ competition and parade laps. This will be a wonderful opportunity for all visitors to take a closer look at some exceptionally pretty cars in pristine condition, with even more machinery included from the Ferrari Owner’s Club Hillclimb Championship.

Motorsport Events Manager David Willey commented: “I’m delighted to add Festival Italia to our calendar for 2016, adding another unique and entertaining event to our extensive portfolio. Our in-house team has proven with our American SpeedFest events that we can put on a show which is about much more than just the racing, and I’m sure that we’ve created yet another one-of-a-kind experience for the fans to enjoy. I’d like to welcome the Ferrari Owners’ Club of Great Britain on board and look forward to working closely with them on this exciting new venture, which is a fantastic way to open our second decade in motorsport.”
