The qualifying stage for the Ypres Rally has taken place and it was Craig Breen/Paul Nagle in the BMW VW Polo R5 leading the way. The next in line was Kevin Abbring/Veronique Hostens in their VW.
Interestingly, the two international interlopers beat the British and the Belgian Championship regulars on the stage. The first Brit was Rhys Yates/Morgan in a Skoda ahead of the first Belgian, Sebastian Bedoret/Thomas Walbrecq, also in a Skoda.
