A PSA Motorsport Rally Cup Belux to take off in 2021!

If there is one observation that has confirmed itself over the years, it is the popularity of rallies in our regions. It did not take more than that for certain importers to rush to the fore, having fully seized the interest of an active presence at the various events. This also goes for PSA Motorsport, already at the heart of the action with their Citroën C3 R5 now become the C3 Rally2. And that is not all! In 2021, a PSA Motorsport Rally Cup Belux will see the light of day, reserved for Peugeot 208 Rally4 and Opel Corsa Rally4! In doing so they honour the long tradition of the Group’s make cups.

Concretely, the cars bearing the lion and lightning logos will compete in a Cup scheduled over 6 rallies – 5 events of the Belgian Rally Championship + the Rallye de Luxembourg. The current health situation does not presently allow to officialise the full programme of this PSA Motorsport Rally Cup Belux, but as from the moment the promoters of the BRC release the programme of the national competition for 2021, the organisers of this new cup will fall into step behind.

On the other hand, what is assured is that a stock of spare parts will be available at the various events withheld, with in addition the presence of a technical adviser.  The choice of tyre supplier for this competition will also be made official later.

When it comes to the prize-money, financial premiums and purchase vouchers for tyres will be brought into play at each event, in addition of a financial bonus at the end of the season to a total amount not exceeding 100.000,00 €
