Saturday saw the Britcar Endurance category take to the track of which is split into four groups and comprises of a 20-minute FP session, a 30-minute qualifying session and then two 60-minute races. The new Praga Category, which will accrue its own points independent of Endurance cars shares the grid with the endurance cars.

The fight for pole was between the Praga of (The Grand Tour) Abbie Eaton and the Lamborghini Huracan of Jamie Stanley.

Jamie eventually set a very impressive time of 59.978. Abbie took the other front spot and thus heading the Praga category. The first race appeared to be easy going for Jamie Stanley and John Seale’s JMH-Lamborghini Huracan as they managed to finish a clear lap ahead of the next Endurance runner, the Nissan GT3 of Richard Wheeler and Danny Harrison.

Race 2 saw a slightly different grid compared to race one with the 91 Praga of Jack Fabby and Charlie Martin on the front row alongside the JMH-run Lamborghini Huracan of Jamie Stanley and John Seale. Shortly after the start of the race at the second corner all hell broke loose as a massive shunt saw seven cars eliminated (66, 78, 6, 4, 60, 95, 144) from the race before the first lap was even half way completed. The course car was on hand to guide the cars for what ended up being nearly 20 minutes whilst the Silverstone team cleared the track of wrecked cars. Shortly after the course car left the track the pit window was opened. Jamie Stanley took the rains for the second half of the race and yet again steered the Lamborghini Huracan to a comfortable win. The Team Praga Three Lions Praga R1 of Gordie Mutch and Abbie Eaton took second place and the overall win for the Praga category. The Nissan GT3 of Fox Transport as driven by Richard Wheeler and Danny Harrison taking a well deserve third place.
