Pitting with 96 laps remaining, Bell was able to overtake then-leader and teammate Martin Truex Jr. and pulled out and over six and a half second advantage over eventual second place finisher Chris Buescher. The victory now continues a streak of four consecutive seasons with a win for Bell.

Ty Gibbs, grandson of team owner Joe Gibbs, brought his #54 Toyota home in 3rd place as he was followed by Brad Keselowski and Ryan Blaney to close out the top 5.
