Ferrari’s Charles LeClerc remained on top of the leaderboard at the conclusion of Friday’s Free Practice sessions as the Monegasque driver posted 1:15.906 sec. lap time to lead from McLaren’s Oscar Piastri and RB’s Yuki Tsunoda as Red Bull continue to struggle for pace in the Italian countryside.

LeClerc had a minor moment of concern as he radioed to his garage with a complaint surrounding his Ferrari’s steering, however, he still posted the fastest lap of the day despite the potential issue.
Lewis Hamilton and George Russell posted the 4th and 5th quickest times in FP2, however Hamilton provided some un-needed stress for both Fernando Alonso and Max Verstappen as both drivers came into conflict the Mercedes on their own hot-laps.
Verstappen and Red Bull continue to struggle with the pace and balance of their RB20, with the Dutchman only able to set the seventh fastest time as their atypical woes continue.
