Breaking news ahead of this months United States Grand Prix as it was announced Thursday evening that the American Formula 1 team, MoneyGram Haas F1, has entered into a “new and dynamic collaborative relationship with TOYOTA GAZOO Racing, the motorsport arm of Japanese auto manufacturer Toyota Motor Corporation.
The multi-year agreement between the two organizations marks the return of the Toyota nameplate to the world of Formula 1 for the first time since leaving in 2009. Under the new arrangement, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing will provide design, technical, and manufacturing expertise and services while MoneyGram Haas F1 will reciprocate with technical expertise and commercial benefits.
