Warning – this interview contains swearing.

Kawasaki’s Loris Baz is on the return to World Superbike racing after suffering an injury last year. He did it in style too, with a hard fought second place in race two at the opening round at Phillip Island.

It was a difficult weekend as Baz had crashed heavily – twice and had a difficult first race to finish in the mid-pack.  He was determined that the second race would be different, fighting hard with teammate, Tom Sykes, Sylvian Guintoli and Eugene Laverty.

His battle with Laverty would end in dramatic fashion with Laverty’s Suzuki engine giving up in spectacular fashion.  Baz was just behind and he had some choice words about the experience in the interview!

We talk about the races, getting the bike prepared for race two, that engine blowup and plans over the next few weeks…
