The State’s best take on International Rally of Queensland

We were at the International Rally of Queensland over the weekend.  Here we take a look at the Queensland Rally Championship with this photo feature.

van Tuinen & Kelly were also competing in the APRC category with their Subaru. They had the pace of the QRC in leg 1, winning the leg but retired in leg 2

Eli Evans was looking for miles as he prepared for the ERC in Estonia but he missed many stages over the weekend

The Truscott/McCoy Datsun 180B would make it through the rally, taking third in All Comers on Sunday

The Jansen/McIntosh VW was a well turned out car and would hang round the lower end of the top 10 over the weekend

The Webster/Preston Subaru stayed clean over the weekend to take 9th in leg 2

The Dillon duo scored a All Comers win in leg 1 but a broken control arm robbed them of victory on leg 2.  They retired on the final stage with a 16 minute lead

The Swart/Davies VW sounded fantastic but a mechanical issue took them out of Leg 2
