With the European Rally Championship kicking off this weekend we are lucky enough to be in the beautiful northern Austria region for the Janner Rallye. In this interview we catch up with the Peugeot Academy driver, Craig Breen.
Craig has a huge 2015 on the cards with the ERC and selected rounds of the WRC2 Championship in the Peugeot 208 T16 R5. Craig tells us how this deal came about. It is an interesting story of dual needs of both driver and team and how compromise can see a bigger than normal schedule.
We also talk about the 2014 season and the bad luck that he had through the year and how that will lead into 2015 and how he believes the Peugeot will be able to take the fight to the other teams to take out the crown.
Finally as we see the end of the of the S2000 cars as the dominant force, we talk of driving styles and how a driver adapts to a turbo R5 car from the high revving S2000 cars.
