This is not the first time that Mike Rockenfeller has competed at Le Mans in a GT car – he has done it twice before, taking a class win last time out in 2005. 

Since then he concentrated on winning the overall prize with Audi and has taken to GT duties in the IMSA series and racing in the DTM. This year he is back.

Racing with Corvette – who are going for their ninth win on their 19th attempt, there is a lot of passion in the team get their 9th win – particularly after the heartbreaking loss last year.
