Thanks to a late race restart and a gamble on tires, William Byron and his number 24 Hendrick Motorsport machine stole the show under the Vegas sun for his first win of the year, locking him into the chase for the Championship. Chevrolet continues their dominance of 2023 with their third win in as many races as teammates Byron, Kyle Larson, and Alex Bowman finished 1-2-3  for the bow-ties.

After a week of rough news following news that Hendrick Motorsport driver and 2020 champion Chase Elliott would be out for several weeks after breaking his leg in a snowboarding accident following last weeks final race at Autoclub Speedway, the win by Byron was a perfect statement to take some pressure off Hendrick’s leadership team as they continue their strong team start in 2023.

Trackhouse racing continues their strong 2023 campaign with another set of top-15 finishes for Ross Chastian and Daniel Suarez and Bubba Wallace had a breakthrough top-5, finishing 4th for 23XI and the best of the Toyota’s after Martin Truex fell from the lead to 7th after the final restart.

Catch up on the action and highlights as the series continues their West Coast swing at Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, Arizona.
