An epic battle for the win saw Max Verstappen dual with both McLaren’s Saturday afternoon as the Dutchman converted from pole to add yet another Sprint Race victory to his trophy case. Leading from the start, Verstappen was able to initially hold off a challenge from Lando Norris, but the McLaren driver soon passed for P1 with a bold move, only to see the lead slip back into Verstappen’s hands as the fight for the lead allowed Oscar Piastri to slip by Norris for second place.
