Here at RacerViews we’re aiming to increase our ECB Australian Rally Championship coverage. As part of that we are having a chat with Australian Rally Champion and new record holder of the most number consenting consecutive wins – Eli Evans.  His co driver is Glen Weston.

Eli is rallying a Honda Jazz in the championship.   The Australian Rally Championship has moved to a two will drive formula that encourages cars like the Honda Jazz, Renault Clio and Mazda 2 to rally.  Eli has found amazing success, dominating the field over the past season and a half and the Championship last year.

He has just won Scouts Rally SA – his ninth in a row, beating out Possum Borne’s record. In this interview we had a chat to me about Scouts Rally SA along with breaking Bourne’s record, rallying a Jazz and his hopes for the International Rally of Queensland and Coffs Harbour (Rally Australia) the next two rallies.
