Earlier this year we caught up with Phil Czaj, rider of the #11 Aprillia in the Australian Superbike Championship Prostock category.  Phil is part of a small family run team, run on passion.

Shortly after that interview – indeed the next day, Phil suffered an engine failure, a devastating blow to a team like Czaj Racing.  They fought back though and were able to make it back for the final round of the Australian Superbike and with the help of a bit of rain, they were able to make it to the podium.

He was able to repeat his great performances in the MotoGP support races at Phillip Island where he scored a class podium in a combined Superbike/Prostock grid.

In this interview we have a chat with Phil about the challenges to get back on track, his great performance at Phillip Island and we talk about the possibility of exciting 2014 plans.
