Eli Evans has smashed all the ARC records over the past two seasons. Thirteen rally wins over 13 rallies. Undefeated in the Honda Jazz he has become a two time Australian Rally Champion and we caught up with him after Rally Victoria.
In Rally Victoria he was involved in another massive battle with Brendan Reeves, just edging out the Mazda driver. Despite all this success, Evans future is less than secure in the sport with Honda Australia pulling out of the sport so Honda can concentrate more on their F1 efforts.
Evans will try to be at the start line for the 2014 season that will feature both the Renaults and a new entry from the Citroen outfit. The future is bright for the Australian Rally Championship and it would be all the better with Evans in it. You could always drop Honda a line on their Facebook, asking them to stay 😉
